Your Options In Wall Clocks
There are hundreds and thousands of wall clock styles. To help make your clock search a little bit easier, I’ve created a few major categories for you to consider. Deciding on the wall clocks that suit your home shouldn’t be a time consuming affair.
Digital wall clocks: Digital clocks are great because they’re easy to read. Getting the time wrong on one of these is pretty difficult. The designs in digital clocks are relatively plain, but you can find some sleek and contemporary versions that are attractive enough. They often fit best in an office or conference room.
Atomic wall clocks: Atomic wall clocks are a great invention. They pick up radio wavelengths that set them to the correct time, all the time. They even take daylight savings time into account automatically. Available in both digital or regular clocks, and only slightly more expensive, atomic clocks are a superb buy.
Retro wall clocks: These are the funky clocks. Find them sometimes with neon lights and flashing logos, and nearly always with bright colors. Simple retro clocks appear very geometric in shape. Somehow their circles are more circular. In any case, these basic model retro clocks look great in the kitchen.
Antique wall clocks: The antique styles primarily use black, brass, and copper tones for their clock frames. Often, but not exclusively, antique clocks are numbered with Roman numerals. They tend to be more decorative; delicate patterns and carvings are fairly common. Beautiful and stately in the dining room, living room, or office.
